Your AI agents run everywhere now: a terminal, an editor, a cloud session, a CI job. Each one starts from zero, inside one repository. The caller lives in another repo, the spec is in Confluence, the decision is in a Jira ticket, and the diagram is in a PDF on a drive.
Semlith indexes every repository and document your organisation has, keeps the index fresh, and answers every agent on every machine over one MCP URL. Agents get facts from a code graph (who calls this, what breaks if it changes, what a pull request reaches) instead of guessing, and every read is logged so you can see what each agent looked at.
Measured, with the baseline named:
- SWE-bench Verified: right file in the top 10 for 76.8% of tasks, against 47.0% for grep-then-read
- Median 224 tokens to reach the first right file, against 15,491 for grep-then-read
- 75.2x fewer tokens than reading whole files, across 1,575 real retrievals
The binary is free and open source, has every feature, and never sends anything off your machine. It runs on macOS (Apple silicon), Linux (x86_64, ARM) and Windows (x86_64), and it sets itself up for the AI tools you already use (12 clients tested). Semlith Cloud is optional: it holds one shared index so every agent, machine and teammate asks the same one. Pro starts at $5/month and Team at $10 per seat/month (founding prices). Both come with a 14-day trial, and queries are never metered.
