Launch Guidelines
What we look for in CodeHype submissions — and what we won’t approve.
Last updated: 23 August 2026
Every launch is reviewed by a human before it goes public. These guidelines help your product clear review faster. Questions: business.codehype@gmail.com.
1. What belongs on CodeHype
CodeHype is for AI products people can try — not pitch decks, waitlists without a product, or unrelated software.
Good fits include:
- AI tools and apps
- AI agents and copilots
- AI APIs and developer platforms
- AI startups with a working product
Your listing must make it obvious what the product does in one clear sentence. If a visitor can’t tell what it is from the tagline and description, rewrite it before submitting.
2. Submission quality
- Use your real product website (reachable over HTTPS).
- Write an honest tagline and description — no hype you can’t back.
- Add a clear logo and screenshots when possible.
- Pick the most accurate category, type, and pricing model.
- Founder/company details should identify who ships the product.
3. Review window
We aim to review launches within about 24 hours. That window is a service target — not automatic approval. Overdue items stay pending until a reviewer decides.
4. Not allowed
- Malware, phishing, credential theft, or deceptive downloads
- Scams, fraud, or misleading claims
- Illegal products or services
- Spam, duplicates, or empty / placeholder listings
- Adult content, weapons, drugs, gambling (where prohibited)
- Piracy or IP theft
- Impersonation of brands or people
5. Voting & fairness
Ask your community to upvote — don’t buy votes, run bot farms, or game rankings. Suspected manipulation can lead to removal or ranking adjustments.
6. After rejection or change requests
If we request changes or reject a launch, you’ll see a founder-facing reason in My launches. Edit and resubmit when ready. Previous review history is kept.
7. Ready to launch?
Submit your product. By submitting, you also agree to our Terms of Service.
