Most AI ad tools read your website and give you 50 ads that sound like your website. Your website isn’t your customer, so the ads come out generic. Meanwhile, founders and agencies juggle separate tools for research, ad copy, video scripts, and product pages, so the story changes at every step between the ad and the checkout.

Solution

Otto Lab is an e-commerce creative assistant. It researches your buyers once: their reviews, competitor complaints and forum posts. Then every asset draws on that same research: statics, video scripts, advertorials, listicles, and Shopify pages. Otto stops after each step so you can approve it or change it before it moves on. You get one consistent story from the ad to the product page.

What makes it unique

Every research finding is labeled as verified, stated, or inferred, and gaps are called out rather than filled in with guesses. It’s one deep assistant rather than a one-click generator, and you stay in charge at every step. There are no credits and no monthly allowance to run out of: models bill to your own API key at cost, with nothing added on top.

FAQ

Why do I need my own Anthropic key?
Every pipeline runs on Claude through your key. Anthropic bills you directly at their price, and Otto Lab adds nothing. Your key is stored encrypted on Otto Lab's server, and only its last 3 characters are ever shown.
What will the AI cost me?
That depends on how much you run, and Anthropic sets the price. You buy credit in your Anthropic account, and runs stop when it runs out. Making Statics and videos with Generate takes a paid plan and your own key for Kie AI, Fal AI or Higgsfield, and that service bills you for them.
Are the free runs really free?
Otto Lab charges nothing and asks for no card. You still pay Anthropic for the AI on your own key. The free plan doesn't include the Research Pack, the Video Ad Generator, the Shopify Builders, the Code Builders, the tools, Generate, Backup, the Winning ads library or Triple Whale.
Why does a run take minutes?
It reads the market before it writes, and it stops after each stage so you can approve it. Runs keep going if you leave, so you can come back to a decision.
Will it make my ads perform better?
Otto Lab doesn't promise sales or ad results. Results depend on your product, offer and market. It gives you research with sources and drafts written from it. You check the drafts and decide what goes live.
Can I trust what it writes?
Treat every output as a draft. Every finding is labeled verified, stated or inferred, and it lists what it couldn't confirm. Check claims before you publish, especially in supplements, health, finance or products for children.
Do I need Shopify?
Only for the Shopify Builders, which produce drop-in theme files. The research, copy, scripts and Static concepts aren't tied to a platform.
Who owns what I make? Who sees it?
You own everything you create, including on free runs. Otto Lab doesn't train on your work or sell your data. Only you, your team and anyone you send a review link can see it. To make your work, it goes to Anthropic and, when you press Generate, to your media service.
